Mitti se Wild Essence Face Wash and Body Oil REVIEW

Let me introduce you all to the brand ” Mitti se ” .  Mitti se means from the Earth in Hindi. The brand is from Lucknow India. They sent a few products, Today I am going to review Wild Essence Face Wash and Body Oil. Here is a little introduction about the brand….

About Mitti Se: We offer Pure, Natural and highly effective Body Care, Cleaning & Health products which are safe and Earth-friendly. Minimal processing goes into our products so the natural complexity of the ingredients is maintained. Our products include ingredients and Ayurvedic formulations that are tried and tested over the years. We have also enhanced their effectiveness by adding on to them where necessary.
Our goal is to make our homes, our lifestyles and Earth safer. We provide affordable alternatives to reduce dependence on harmful & unsustainable chemicals.
Products which use harmful chemicals harm the environment during manufacture through release of toxic by-products. They cause health issues during their use and continue to harm the environment after disposal. All of this can be avoided by harnessing the power of nature and using natural ingredients.

So, when I read their introduction on their website, was very much impressed by their intention to provide earth friendly products which not only gives better skin by natural ingredients ,but are also are Eco friendly.  We use so much of toxins and preservatives in the name of skin care, that we not only harm ourselves but also the environment. Hence, I immediately ordered a few ingredients.  I got their wild-essence face wash, Body oil,  aloe clay mask and sweet almond oil.

Today in this post I am reviewing two of them : Wild Essence Face Wash and Body oil

Wild essence face wash Review:

This is a powder cleanser. powder cleansers are so much in vogue now.  Why ? Because they gently exfoliate skin along with cleansing action.  Powder cleansers are made of botanical extracts and are completely preservative free and one can customize the cleansing paste according to their needs. For instance , if you have dry skin you can mix the powder with milk or use essential oil . Otherwise , if you have oily skin you can simply mix with water or rose water.

What Wild Essence Face Wash claims:

  • Exfoliates, freshens, smoothens and nourishes skin,
  • Makes skin supple and imparts a healthy look and glow
  • Fine Granules of Almond, Lemon, Gram remove dead skin, dirt
  • Balances oil in the skin
  • Fights acne and has antiseptic properties
  • Removes sun tan, gives relief from sun burn
  • Removes dark circles from under eyes, imparts a uniform complexion
  • It is a deep cleanser and can be used daily in place of soap.

How to use :

My experience with Wild essence face wash:
The product is as promising as its name. It is anti acne, anti suntan face wash.  Exactly what we need in summer.  It comes in a sturdy plastic bottle packaging  and a screw cap. It is quite travel friendly. The cleanser is pale yellow in color.

I have been using this face wash since a week and very much impressed with the results.  Mine is a normal-dry skin type which in summer behaves normal.  I mix the cleanser with plain water and gently massage on my face and neck for about a minute and wash off with cold water. The powder has very mild herbal smell to it. The cleaner powder is so fine and is not all  harsh. Upon mixing with water it makes a very smooth paste except one or two big particles here and there (negligible)  you can use it for everyday exfoliation and cleansing. It doesn’t dry out my skin.I have even mixed with milk once, the results are pretty same with both.  I really can’t say how it goes with oily skin.  Right now, I use it every morning , it wont give that squeaky clean effect hence not drying on me, but it gently cleanses all the impurities. Never thought powder cleansers could be so effective. I have not developed any acne since using it.  It has also made my skin even toned and with regular usage it will will remove tan also I guess.  I am in love with this natural skin care experience.

Body Oil (Face and Body) Review :

This body oil from Mitti Se  is a good buy if you have a dry skin  or if you are a mom or if you simply want to pamper yourself  😛  . It moisturizes and firms the skin. It is rejuvenating and nourishing. Read below to know more.
What Mitti se Body oil claims:
  • Deep skin nourishment with skin firming properties

  • Works well to remove stretch marks during/post pregnancy.

Cost and how to buy:
Rs 260 for 50ml. Buy here : .
Shelf life :
2 years from manufacture.
My experience with it :
The product  comes in a plastic bottle with pump to dispense the oil, It also has a plastic cap which makes it travel friendly.  The pump is pretty tight and dispenses little oil when pressed. The oil is golden yellow in color. I am using it as after bath body oil to lock in the moisture.
First thing I liked about it is the smell, it has musky woody smell to it which instantly relaxes the senses. A mom needs a relaxant after all !!  Its texture is very light and absorbs well into the skin. Just a few massage strokes and absorbs well and gives a slight oily look to skin which disappears soon.  The smell lingers on me for about 5 hours. My hubby has complimented me several times for its smell.  I don’t know if it is the smell of geranium oil.
Now coming to its effectiveness, reason why  I purchased this is because it claims to firm the skin and remove pregnancy stretch marks.  Well, I do not believe any product can erase stretch marks but at least it will prevent further stretch marks I can say.  Post pregnancy my skin is losing its elasticity and I am still developing a few marks here and there. I just hope regular use will prevent them. Right now it is giving me a necessary moisture, bounce and plump look.

Final thoughts

So overall, I am very impressed on Mitti se products, they are a good buy . They are effective and also Eco friendly.
I do recommend these products as they suit all skin types and affordable products in natural skin care range.  Give yourself and your skin some natural skin care experience.  Go to their website and grab few stuff for yourself !!

Heya outstanding blog! Does running a blog similar to this take a lot of work? I’ve very little knowledge of programming but I was hoping to start my own blog in the near future. Anyhow, should you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners please sha…

  6. Nidhal Sinha

I’m glad to know that the cleanser/face wash is a powdered one unlike most run of the mill liquid/semi liquid ones that entail the addition of some or the other nasty chemical. For the body oil, had the price been lowered slightly, I’d have thought about it because at the moment, I can conveniently buy all the 4 oils it’s made up of and make my own. The cost will pare down. Plus, I’d be assured that the oils I’m using are of the highest grade 🙂

    1. Yes, body oil is little over priced.
